Description
Randigris is an oceanic world tilted nearly sideways, giving it a permanent hot hemisphere and a permanent cold hemisphere. The hot side reaches Sahara‑like temperatures (45–55°C), while the cold side resembles Antarctica (−40 to −60°C). A global ocean prevents either extreme from becoming uninhabitable, moderating heat and cold through constant circulation.
The equatorial band exists in perpetual twilight — the sun always hovering just above or below the horizon. This region is temperate, stable, and habitable, forming the primary living zone for the Tonoe. Randigris is also extraordinarily windy, with equatorial jet streams exceeding 200 km/h and constant superstorms created by the planet’s extreme axial tilt.
